The Best Album Ever

I go through fazes...when listening to music...but one record I always come back to is Pet Sounds. You can't beat it. With songs like "wouldnt it be nice" ..and "god only knows" how could you. Little pop symphanies.. with voices that sounds like angels. I heard someone say in an interview that they had once heard Brian Wilson say "I day I will write songs that people will pray to" Bold?...nah..i don't think so. Listen to this record..he came pretty fuckin close. I pray everyday I can write a song one day that will come close to one of these trax. I think i'll be praying for awhile.

First Chapter (Surfing DVD)

I haven't surfed in years....but i've continued to keep up on the sport and the culture. I guess its kinda of a hoobby for me now. I always follow the ASP Tour and love to check out who's the up and coming new superstar. Well Dane Reynolds isn't really an up and comer anymore. He's more like already there. His first DVD titled "First Chapter" is amazing to watch. Even if you dont' follow surfing at all..its worth a watch. and..make sure to check out the bonus features...they're hilarious.

Just got this CD for Xmas. I haven't been this excited about a band in a long time. I can't stop listening to it. Youtube them...check out the songs... "Is There a Ghost"..and/or "The General Specific"

Monkeys Shoulder

someone finally turns me on to a new liquor....and i can't get it here in Canada. I got a bottle of whiskey called Monkey Shoulder from a special someone straight from Scotland...and its unfuckin unreal. Its amazing in all its tasty goodness. It's one of those things where your like..why didn't anyone tell me about this years ago. If your ever in Scotland..buy a case...actually buy a barrel. Its like my camel cigarette addiction.... canadian camel cigarettes are not even remotely the same as american made camels....and thats all i want... Give me Camels and Monkey Shoulder...is that alot to ask?..Fuck....So ya i'm addicted to everything i can't have.... I think i see a pattern emerging here. Grrrrrrrrr
